Sakari Momoi (百井 盛, Momoi Sakari, February 5, 1903 – July 5, 2015) was a Japanese educator and supercentenarian, verified as the oldest living Japanese man from Jokichi Ikarashi's death on 23 July 2013[2] and the world's oldest living man from the death of Polish-born American chemist Alexander Imich, who was just a day older, on 8 June 2014 until his own death at age 112 years, 150 days.[3]

Momoi worked as teacher of chemistry at secondary schools in Fukushima and Saitama, and served as rector of Hanawa Fukushima Prefectural Technical High School 1948 to 1951 and Saitama Prefectural Yono High School 1953 to 1959.

Momoi was recognized by Guinness World Records as the oldest living man on 20 August 2014, and said he wanted to live longer, at least two years more. He died of kidney failure on 5 July 2015[4] and was succeeded as the oldest living man by Yasutaro Koide, also a Japanese man.
